  • Turnaround Time As fast as we try to be, please understand that custom screen printing takes time. There is artwork to be approved, blank apparel to be ordered/shipped/received, screens to prepare, presses to setup, and finally printing to be done. As long as everything goes smoothly, your order should be ready within 5-7 business days after all order details are finalized. If you need them faster than that, there is a chance we can pull it of if our schedule permits, but Rush Charges may apply.

    Artwork Guess what the most important factor is to achieving great screen printing results: great artwork! The better your artwork, the better the end result will be. We strongly insist that you have the best artwork prepared before you are ready to place your order. If you don't quite have the skills to create the best artwork, maybe you know a friend, family member or co-worker with some design experience or software who can help out. For customers providing their artwork please read the Artwork Guidelines.

    We are more than happy to create artwork for you for an additional fee, so bring a well thought out and clear description of what you need designed and we'll go from there. Plus, if we are creating and designing the artwork for you, it will take some extra time, so be cautious and prepare for possible delays in order turnaround time.

    Deposit After we review your Order Form and provide you with a price quote, just let us know that you are ready to move forward by paying a 50% deposit on the quoted total. Once that is received the fun begins!

    Mockups For every order, we will create a digital mockup of what your artwork will look like on the shirt style/color you choose. You must review this mockup and let us know of any changes needed. Pay extra, extra attention to spelling if any words are part of your artwork. We can not be responsible for reprinting your order due to a misspelling if you approve the order mockup with the misspelling present.

    Print Errors We try our best on every order to avoid print errors, but they will happen. Sometimes it's simply due to holes, stains, bad threading on the blank garments that come from our suppliers, and other times something goes wrong on the printing press or some hidden ink on fingers and hands accidentally makes it way onto the garments. We recommend that you order one or two extra garments per size so that the final quantity you need is not shorted. We will only charge you for the final quantity delivered.

Verification

Artwork Guidelines
The most important part of preparing your order is to provide the best possible artwork you can. This ensures a great end result for the print, reduces the time we at iNK have to spend tweaking and fixing art, and avoids possible art / design charges. We accept the following art file types:

Adobe Illustrator (.ai)*
Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
High Resolution PDF or JPEG (300+ dpi, exact print dimensions)*

If you are not familiar with creating art files, chances are you have a family member, friend or co-worker who has experience and can easily help or create the artwork for you. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like us to speak with the person creating the art. Of course, we can create or fix artwork for you, but charges may apply!

* Vector based files, like Adobe Illustrator (.ai), are preferred as they allow us to scale the image to whatever size you would like without distorting and are definitely needed if your artwork has fine detail. Other file formats are usable if they are of a high resolution (300+ dpi) and the computer generated artwork dimensions are equal to or larger than the final print dimension.
